With some changes looming it's a great time to unload on a lot of stuff that I don't/won't use. The urgency of that was compounded by a family emergency that required unexpected international travel (no death ), and as such the combined timing makes for your gain.

The rear cap has been replaced with a far superior Pentax rear lens cap.

There's no reason that Sigma 17-50 should last more than an hour or 2 on here. I've had mine on my K5II for less than a week and love it. And best wishes with your upcoming deployment/emergency Alex.
