| SMC Pentax-F* 300mm F4.5 ED [IF] PentaxForums.com Marketplace Listing Item for Sale SMC Pentax-F* 300mm F4.5 ED [IF] Asking Price $999 USD Item Location Brentwood, CA (United States) Item Description I know folks, here it is, my beloved 300mm prime, a clean and very sharp copy of the somewhat hard to find SMC Pentax-F* 300mm F4.5 ED [IF]. Yes, Auto Focus and Full Frame. Some years back, I spent a good deal of time shopping for the perfect telephoto lens for my rig and this was it! It is a compact design with a slide out hood and nice beefy tripod foot, aperture ring, auto focus with choke ring mechanism. The adjustable collar operates with silky precision and has convenient detents every 90 degrees. A few small paint chips on the body from light use, but aperture is clean and all elements are scratch free, fungus free, super clean. Front and rear caps included. Having compared many lenses in this category, I much prefer this one to the DA*300 and FA*300, fwiw.
