This sleek American made ballhead is compact & light weight (.90 lb) but holds up to 25 lbs. It can also be use as a gimble head for longer lenses. The Acra-Swiss style clamp will accepts all Acra-Swiss quick release plates.
The GP-S has a smaller diameter base of 2 1/16 inches, therefore excellent for use with travel tripods or monopods. The base is designed to fits both 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 thread tripods. It also has an additional foot to act as a base when the unit is inverted and the clamp is attached to the bottom base of the unit, thus becomes a leveling base when taking stitched panoramic images.
Acratech ballheads are very robust yet easy to use. Their unique oilless and greaseless ball will not attract or hold dirt and debris, make it the most practical choice for field use.

This ballhead is in overall excellent condition with couple screw marks on the bottom of the base from tripod head tightening screw. Please see last photo.
