Item Description
A nice low cost BOKEH MONSTER, the Super-Takumar 50mm f/1.4. Some visible signs of use and brassing on the finish, but the elements are clean and free of scratches or fungus. Some yellowing has re-appeared in the glass a few years after I performed a UV treatment and had cleared it completely. Easy to reverse if so desired. Has A/M switch. Lens includes front/rear caps. M42 ring is no longer available nor included with the sale. Re-priced accordingly.

Sure, but the $25 special offer is bundled to the M42 lenses I am selling(S-M-C 200/4, S-M-C 105/2.8, Sup-Tak 50/1.4).
A new genuine ring sells for $69 and used they go for ~$50, so make me an offer...

Test pics from this lens, shot minutes ago...

THIS is why I bought the lens!

Super Tak 50/1.4 & K-3II, lens at f/1.4
That brushstroke bokeh just takes my breath away.




Then stopped down to f/5.6 to show that the palm fronds sharpen up well.

I shot same image with this lens, M50/1.7 and DA*50/1.4 and at f/5.6, this Super-Tak is sharper than the DA*50.


Wish I had a better backyard subject, lawn chair in a pinch.

at f/5.6 to show sharpness when stopped down a few clicks.
