Tamron 90/2.5 macro Adaptall SP (still available), 35-80 SP, and smc-A 50/1.7 (sold)

I am selling three lenses that produce some of the best bokeh and out of focus areas of any lenses I know.

The Tamron 90/2.5 macro (model 52BB) optimized for macro, but with more pleasant out of focus areas than the later versions of this lens -- $145 Lens is still available - see new photos at end; the adaptall mount is included. Dropping price to $135 with adapter.

The Tamon 35-80mm 2.8-3.8 SP macro - this lens is like a stack of prime lenses - again with great bokeh at almost any setting. -- Lens is sold

And the smc-A 50./1.7 - which can produce excellent bokeh (better than the smc-m 50/1.7 IMO) up to around f5.6. At F8 this lens is toasty sharp. Lens is sold

All three lenses are like new optically, and perfect mechanically.

No scratches, no fungus, no issues. The lenses may have minor cosmetic marks on surfaces but these are so minimal the lenses could almost pass as new.

The Tamron 90mm includes the original hood for this lens which is quite rare and commonly sells for $30-40.

Photos below are with the actual lenses shown.

do the Adaptall lenses have Adaptall adapters included?

(yes, I know that's an awkward sentence)

Thanks JCDog,

I hope I answered your questions.

Note to Pepperberry - actually the SP 35-80 does not come with an Adapter. The shots using it were done by using the one attached to the other 90/2.5 lens.

I am hoping someone would make me an offer for both lenses as both have been checked out with the single supplied adapter. As seen in the images shown above.

Both the Tamron 35-80 and smc-A 50/1.7 lenses are sold.

The last lens to go is the 90/2.5 Tamron macro (model 52BB). It comes with both front and rear caps, the original shade, and the PK Adaptall 2 mount which is the best (most secure) of the adaptall mounts. The adapter works particularly well with this specific lens, which is why I would not sell it separately. To demonstrate its bokeh characterstics, here are three more photos taken with this lens and adapter on a Pentax K7.

PayPal is accepted but shipping outside the U.S. and Canada is not. Check my feedback here as a seller. It's 100%.

I was asked if the Tamron 90/2.5 lens goes to 1:1 macro. It is 1:2 not 1:1. The later Tamron 90/2.8 macro is 1:1.

I will let the images speak for themselves.

Adding a couple more images from the Tamron 90/2.5 lens, taken yesterday. The subtle colors and tonality of this lens are demonstrated. In my experience, neither the Tokina 90/2.5 ATX or the Kiron 105 macros have this subtlety. I have owned all three, and found that the Kiron colors were flat and the Tokina's rendering of OOF highlights inferior. I also prefer the bokeh and rendering of out of focus highlights of this tamron (9 aperture blades) to the earlier and later versions of the Tamron.

PM replied.

I can also sell this lens for $120 without the PK adaptall adapter, which is in fact an Adaptall 2 though it is not marked as such.

The commonly made Chinese adapter for $9-10 turns this and any adaptall lens into (effectively) a pre-set macro lens with stop down metering. Those macro shots will be better exposed and for close-in work with out of focus backgrounds, preview of "bokeh" characteristics is more consistent and more easily attained when using a pre-set macro lens. Some of the images here show the result obtained in this manner.

Lowering my price on the Adaptall mount Tamron 90/2.5 (model 52BB) to $135 with adapter, $115 without adaptall adapter (if you already have one).

Received positive feedback on the other two lenses - Thanks PentaxZilla!!!

The Tamron 90mm is equally spectacular. I am surprised it's still here. One would be lucky to buy a cheap Cosina Macro 100/3.5 for this price.
