Here for sale is a six-month-old "Nikon K3" split focusing screen from focusingscreen.com, which I've used successfully in my K-3 and K-5 cameras (I believe it's compatible with various other Pentax DSLRs too - please check for your own peace of mind, though!).

The screen is in excellent condition, though there is a machining mark near the clear area just off center of the screen. It does not affect use at all and didn't bother me when using it, but you can see it when you look through the viewfinder, so - in the interests of full disclosure - I mention it here.

The screen comes boxed in its original plastic case with two shims which I did not need to use in my cameras, and a tool for unlatching and re-latching the frame.

Recently, mine transferred perfectly from my K-50 to my K-3. Someone else has mentioned moving theirs from a K-30 to K-3. I made a post about doing so before I actually made the move, and it was claimed that it should work in K-7, K-5, K-5II, K-5IIs, K-3, K-3II, K-30, K-50, K-500, K-S1, K-S2, and K-70. Based on the successful moves mentioned here, I have no reason to doubt that list.

Mine made manual focusing so much easier. I find it a pain with the focus peaking on the display, but it's so quick in the viewfinder with the split prism. It doesn't interfere at all with normal focusing and doesn't seem to affect my view in the viewfinder except when I'm shooting with aperture rings around f11 and beyond. I don't do low light shooting, so it's all good for me. I wish I had done it sooner.

By the by, for anyone who should happen to buy this - that little plastic gripper is excellent for delicately placing the screen into the empty screen tray above the mirror, but not so good at getting the stock screen out. Be suuuuuuuper careful - I used some metal tweezers, and I'm surprised at how easily I etched the little handling tab.
