For sale is my Pentax SMC Pentax-F 1.7x AF Adapter. I’ve had this adapter for several years, and have sold off all of my manual focus lenses. I was recently using it with an FA* 300, but sold that lens for a DA* 300. After getting the DA*, I bought one of the new TC’s for the weather sealing, and I now have an entirely weather sealed combo. Although I will miss the little extra reach of the adapter compared to the new one, and I have felt that sometimes the adapter focuses faster than the TC & lens, I am prioritizing the weather sealing of the TC. This adapter is in beautiful condition. The exterior looks new. A few years ago I bought another adapter with absolutely pristine optics but bad mechanics, and had Eric Hendrickson install the perfect glass in my adapter, and “CLA” the whole thing while he had it apart. The unit works perfectly as it should. I will include the original receipt from Eric with the adapter. Original front and rear caps are also included.
