Samsung NX 300 w/ kit 20-50 lens - Sale Pending

PentaxForums.com Marketplace Listing

Item for Sale
SALE PENDING: Samsung NX 300 w/ kit 20-50 lens

Asking Price
180.00 USD

Item Location
Mint Hill, NC (United States)

Item Description
Despite this camera taking great pictures I have too much gear so to that end I am selling this:

Samsung NX 300
20MP NX Series Samsung camera.
APS-C sided sensor
Wifi and NFC connectivity options
20-50mm f/3.5-5.6 Kit Lens
With K to NX adapter to allow use of Pentax lenses.
Includes kit flash and lenscap.

Samsung NX300 real-world and test scene samples: Digital Photography Review

Please note that one of the two strap lugs is missing. This happened before I bought the camera. I have a replacement lug here from Samsung but have not installed it. Installation will require some disassembly and since I tended to use with without a strap or with a wrist strap secured to the tripod socket or the other lug I didn't worry about it. The missing lug is under the black tape (added by the previous seller).

I own a NX 300 and also own the 20-50mm, its a great little camera.Compact and versatile.Samsung still supports their cameras with wifi firmware updates.Video is superior to any Pentax I own.Stills are very good. There are some great pancakes to build a system around and theres a high class PK to NX manual adapter for around U$20 so all K mounts can be used. The adapter has an aperture ring so Faj and DA lenses can be controlled. This is a good price, BANG for $$$$.

I really like the size and the output. The 20mp sensor reveals quite a lot of detail even with the kit lens. However my dad is using Panasonic m43 and I have Pentax. I can't support THREE lens systems!!! Someone take this gem off my hands.

Remember folks - this is a 20mp APSC sensor mirrorless with the PK adapter. It's like a K-01 with a slimmer body and more MP for your manual focus lenses!

Unbiased opinion: I had one of these cameras, and was constantly surprised at how easy it was to use and set up. Tilting touch screen to focus and shoot was great, image quality was K-3 level, and NX lenses are generally pretty good. Only reason I say "was" is that mine took a dive into a lake and never recovered... otherwise I'd still have it as my walkabout cam!

Thank you. I agree. My Dad bought this one and enjoyed it but moved to my m43 camera (GX7) and prefers it. He really likes the smaller size of the lenses on m43 over the superior image quality of the APSC 20mp sensor.

I use a pair of K-3's but with the PK adapter this is a neat option for using Pentax lenses on. The size of the grip is really nice in my hand on the K-3 but the Samsung is no slouch either. I find it pretty comfortable to use with a PK adapter - particularly those lenses with good manual focus and an aperture ring.

The NX 20-50 lens is quite nice - I'm really surprised by how sharp and nice the images look from it. Focusing is quite quick I agree.

Great pics here UncleV! I've picked up another one of these for my wife, it's a talented little shooter. We later added the 16mm f/2.4 in pink, cute and easy to differentiate from other little primes Maybe a white 30mm f/2 or 10mm fisheye will drop in some day..
