The A series 70-210 f4 is a poor mans 60-250. Sharp fun lens - the push pull is a little tough to master at first with manual focus and zoom tied together but you get better at it with practice.

At 70mm it is super sharp wide open. I got one of these that looks like new.

To be honest I don't remember. I used more on film and what digital I used it with was over 10 years ago

Well, for some of us, whose first zooms were one-touch zooms, they are totally natural, and it is the two-touch zooms that were the ones that required some mastering. YMMV, of course. [In my case, my own first zooms were VS1 70-210/3.5's, and my first Pentax zoom was an A 70-210/4.]

Specifically to the A 70-210/4, it's a very good zoom lens, and (with Ka functionality) still very convenient to use.
