How is the autofocus-- any backfocus or front focusing issues? Did you use AF fine lens adjustments? Any sample pictures you could post that were taken with this lens?

Thank you

On my K3 i set AF adjust at +2. It is consistent thru the range. Screw drive was fast enough for my use. I was looking for at least center sharp @2.8 and this one delivered. Here are a few snaps that show what this guy can do in my very amateur hands...

Thanks, John. Wow, that's a nice sharp lens, and love the starburst. I am thinking of replacing my DA 16-45 with a f/2.8 zoom in the same range so I can have a little better low light performance. It seems that people really like their Tammy 17-50.

I would never sell mine. It is my go-to 'general purpose' lens. A FL that is perfect for walk-arounds and the f/2.8 give wonderful low-light performance and DOF. The close-up focus really makes this one of the most versatile lenses I own (and I own way too many.)

I think it is spectacular and those shots are great. I've always had curiosity about the 20-40 but I ended up buying the Ricoh GR.

Is the Limited 20-40 better than the Tamron? Because the Tamron is an excellent lens.

Thx. IMHO both Tamron and 20-40 are excellent lenses. I wasn't looking to replace the Tammy but found a good used mint copy of the 20-40 and it seemed like a great addition to my da15 & da70. I also ended up with a 16-85 but it didn't move the 20-40 off of the camera either - just something about the 20-40 to my eyes (and I love the build), and since i need to slim down my kit somethings gotta give.

Hi Gumbee, I'm new on the forums, but can't send you PM. I am very interested in this lens. Perhaps if you PM me, we can talk about it. Thanks
