Please read the forum rules about criticising other people's prices.

I could perhaps understand if there was a significant markup, but you decided to break the rules for a $20 discount? Realise that different people want to buy from different sellers and that not everyone does eBay. Buying here on the forum gives further assurances that might provide additional value to some purchasers... value way beyond $20.

My personal experience with prodigital2000 was not completely satisfactory (they still owe me $30) but my experience with sellers here always has been. Search for my thread on them.

Clarification: I have no personal interest in this specific sale and do not know the seller.

For some reason, my posts seem to attract those that like to break the forum rules and comment on the price. And they tend to be from Canada for some reason. I must be a magnet for Canadian illiterates or ass.

drwho -- here are the details. *ist D, DA 40mm, two Metz 48 AF-1, and Flashwaves trigger. f/8 and 1/125s.

Thanks to Canadian schooling there aren't many Canadian illiterates.

Thanks to the proximity of the USA there are a good number of Canadian chancers (as we'd say in Ireland).

More people are online in the province of Ontario than any other region of the world.

These factors might account for the perceived imbalance.

I love my FA31mm. It was perfect for late evening shooting in the Butchart Gardens in Victoria, Canada a few days ago. The sharpnes, IQ, and lightweight made it a perfect walk-around lens in low light!

The lens is worth every penny! It is the best lens I have ever used!

bump. Now that Sony announced a FF DSLR body, what are the chances that Pentax will do the same? Perhaps these FA lenses will become more valuable then.

Let's call it cause and effect... (or maybe location and effect...)
