Item Description
Pentax F 50mm f/2.8 macro lens. The lens coatings are blemish free. There is no haze of fungus in the lens. I am not sure about oil on the blades. There are some marks on the blades, but it doesn't look like oil to me, but then I don't think I've ever seen a lens with oil on the blades, so cannot be sure. The lens's autofocus function is inconsistent. Sometimes it locks focus fine, other times it sort of gets stuck. When it locks focus the focus is accurate and I have not had to fine tune the autofocus on my K-1. The lens works well for manual focusing. When the autofocus gets cranky, I switch to manual focus for awhile. Cosmetically, the lens is in fair condition, please see the pictures. This lens is a classic Pentax lens with the beautiful colors older Pentax lenses are known for. It is a very, very sharp lens. The lens will come with its Pentax caps, Pentax soft case and Pentax collapsible rubber hood. I'm selling it and a couple of other of my lenses to fund a non-photography house project.
