I am selling the Pentax 540 FGZ rig I used with my Better Beamer. I have both the 540 FGZ and the Pentax 540FGZII. The older FGZ model being sold here has an external power plug, the newer 540FGZII does not. I found the external power desirable. The flash has a noticeable burn blemish you can see on the second photo. This bubble was caused by sun hitting the flash through the Better Beamer. Fortunately the blemish is at the top of the red plastic and does not seem to impact the flash. I do not notice the difference between the photos I take with the 540 FGZ and the 540 FGZ II. The TTL function appears to work OK.
Bundled with the flash are Pentax 31022 Hot Shoe Adapter F and the PentaxF5P 3' Extension Cord for Off-Camera TTL Flash with Pentax Cameras. This lets you mount the flash off camera and maintain TTL operation.
Bundled with the flash is a generic 12 volt external battery pack that holds eight AA batteries - no batteries included with the flash or battery pack.
The boxes and manual shown in the photo are included.
I do not have the stand for the flash.
I am selling these items since I use a different camera for wildlife photography.
