Yep!! It's one of the 3 best macro lenses out there. If I didn't have it's little brother I would grab it in a heartbeat.

For a moment Jay, I thought, what on earth is he doing selling his Viv 105. I should'a known better than to think you would part with that lens.

One of the most outstanding macro lens one can buy, IMHO.

Sorting through all PM's and emails, many came in who did not post here first, but the order
of delivery into mailbox is being considered, offers for full price precedent...

Just took some more quick test shots with this lens just now and someone is getting some
SWEEEEEET glass!! It always floors me to see the detail these things pick up, definitely
gives a particular thrill no other lens I've used gives. (and NO, I'm not selling my copy after
this one, don't bother to ask )

(oh, and it's 224xxxx SN, FL_Gulfer, Kiron made - all S1 105's are made by Kiron.)

New Record!

New record holder - 2:15 pm FS post - 2:28 pm PM (if sells to that buyer). Beats my 15 minute turnaround on the S1 70~210 ver. 3

Actually, fl_gulfer was just commenting, first interested posting was 2:33 - so your record is intact!

Hello Joost

Do you have a Paypal account?

Many offers came in at the same time, not all willing to Pay full price, though, or pay for shipping (???) so I'll be willing to ship this to Chicago to your friend for $475.

If you're interested, please send Paypal payment to jsherman999@gmail.com for $475.

Thanks! And congratulations, you just scored big on a rare lens in near-mint condition.

Well, the first responder has gotten back to me, and I'm awaiting his reply again. several folks have re-offered at full price, so I'm waiting on his response and then I will offer in order. It should go to the first responder as long as they are willing to meet asking price. I'll let you know.

Hello Jay,

Well, thanks for responding.
I'm a little confused right now, because you wrote that you will sell the lense to me and now it seems that it is not the case?
I thought that I was the first one that was willing to pay the amount you asked for and even more.
In this way it looks like some auction is going on around here.
Do you want to sell the lens to me or not?

Kind regards,

JM

Actually, I do remember a lens that sold within 1 minute, back soon after I joined here. Anyone remember that?

Which three were you thinking?

Vivitar Series 1 105mm f/2.5
Vivitar Series 1 90mm f/2.5
Tamron 90 f/2.8
