Selling the big gun!

I'd say excellent condition, a few minor paint scratches. Glass appears very clean. Operates as it should.

Came to me as part of a complete Pentax package. Guy locally was getting out of Pentax and moving to Sony. I've not used it enough to keep it in my arsenal, so hopefully it'll go to a home where it'll see more use. I've attached a picture taken during the recent Super Moon (got on the local news here).

Kit includes:

Lens with caps & hood. Padded case & Box.

Sigma 2x DG AF teleconverter

Camo LensCoat & RainCoat

Just to clarify, is this the model without HSM motor or does it have HSM?

This lens is non-HSM. I have found the focusing to be very quiet and accurate. Thanks.

Do you know the age of the lens? Wondering if it might still be under warranty?? I believe the warranty for the big sigmas is 7 years?

Bob, All that came with the lens was an invoice from Adorama. The previous owner purchased the lens used in September 2013.

I've been trying to figure out the age through the serial number but no luck so far - in anyone has any suggestions there I'm happy to hear them.

I have been told the warranty cannot be transferred but that could have changed from when I checked...I have this lens as well...excellent lens. They do not make an hsm for pentax. Probably because of the in camera stability. It won't disappoint!!
