I was fortunate to find another copy of the Pentax F*300mm I sold recently and then regretted selling. I bought this great copy of the FA*300mm when I could not find another copy of the F*300mm. The lens exterior shows some signs of wear (please see pictures). The optics are clear without scratches, haze, or fungus. There may be some minor dust, but I cannot see it (chalk it up to aging eyes). The lens functions smoothly and is a nice sharp copy on my K-1 without requiring adjustment. The lens will come with its Pentax caps, hood and Pentax soft case. Asking $675 which includes domestic shipping and PayPal fee.

This is one of the all-time-great Pentax lenses. It's more compact and lighter weight than the DA*300, without the worry of SDM AF. The resolution is like that of the DFA 100, which is pretty spectacular. It works beautifully with the Kenko 1.5x pz teleconverter (same as the Tamron 1.4x pz).

They don't come up often. Highly recommended.
