PentaxForums.com Marketplace Listing Item for Sale Sigma Super Wide II 24mm f/2.8 Asking Price 165.00 USD Item Location NJ (United States) Item Description Selling a Sigma Super Wide II 24mm f/2.8 I acquired last month in a lot of lenses I bought. It's a wonderful -and Full Frame - lens, but I also have the AF version and mostly use that. The lens barrel is in excellent condition, with slight usage marks. The glass is excellent, blades are snappy and oil-free. The focus ring is a joy to use. Included are the caps and the "Sigma Perfect Hood", which is not always bundled with this lens. Caps and hood have some scratches. Comes from a clean, smoker-free home, never abused, dropped or left in the car. This lens is very sharp - the sharpest of any 20mm-something lens I've used, which includes the three copies of the Pentax DA21 I've owned, two copies of the Tak 24/3.5, and K 24/3.5. The "macro" mode is very cool and gives much latitude for creative compositions. This lens resolves distant detail better than any wide lens I've ever used. Contrast is very good, color is well-saturated but slightly cooler than typical Pentax. Interestingly, this lens is not quite as susceptible to flare as its 28mm Super Wide sibling. but I'd still recommend a hood for sunny-day use. There are a few things I'm interested in wrt trades, realizing that a bit o' cash may need to flow one way or the other: - HD PENTAX-DA 18-50mm F4-5.6 DC WR RE - SMC Pentax DA 40mm XS - SMC PENTAX-FA 100MM F3.5 Macro with 1:1 matched adapter - Pentax K-01 - Pentax Q7 or Q-S1 - Panasonic Lumix DMC-GM1 or GF7 If you have any other trade ideas, send 'em my way!
