Item Description
Minty looking AF540FGZ that does not do the one thing a flash must do - produce light. It reacts to the camera settings and zooming of lenses, it sets the shutter speed on the camera. The in viewfinder indicator will light when charged. In short it does EVERYTHING except make light. Pressing the test button gives no response. On camera it will not fire. Remote triggering does not work. If you need light - this isn't going to work unless you fix it.
On the other hand - if you need parts unrelated to the light - say battery doors, lcds, hot shoe foot, wide angle panel, catchlight panel... then this is the flash for you! Flash worked great for over a year and then just died unexpectedly. Worked one day and then didn't work the next without warning. Could potentially be repaired by an enterprising person - but BE SAFE - flashes contain high voltage capacitors that must be respected.
Box and paperwork included but stand and pouch are AWOL so not included at this time - if found this could change. This item is listed on eBay for slightly more and buy it now. If this sells here I will end the listing.
