Item Description
The reviews say it all:Shutterbug: New Tokina ATX 28-80mm f2.8SD AF PRO

"serious photo enthusiasts should definitely check out the professional caliber AT-X 28-80mm f/2.8 AF PRO."

"Its superb performance, rugged construction, and wide maximum aperture definitely warrant the extra cost for those who demand the finest quality and want a "fast" problem-solving lens as well."

"Can you still get a lens of rugged construction and fine imaging capabilities? The answer is a definite "yes" for the AT-X 28-80mm f/2.8 AF PRO model. It merits a place in the "best value" category of lenses likely to satisfy the discriminating photo enthusiast and the working professional."

This lens is not a toy - it is a tank! Solid, professional construction combined with amazing quality optics.

This lens was bought second hand from a forum member last year and it is a beauty. I will probably regret letting it go, but my love of primes and the fact that I have got a baby on the way means I have to say bye bye!

This lens is pretty rare, so grab it while you can.

I'm a primes person, but everytime i come to this thread I'm tempted. bonovox, you should have included the pictures taken with this lens from the previous thread that demonstrates the wonderful colour and bokeh this lens is capable of.

January for us - our first.

Dollars are tight (I'm studying part time and working in full-time Christian ministry, which isn't known for big sallaries!)

Had a quick look at your website link. Interestingly, I stayed for a couple of days at my friend's foster mothers in April and she lived about 300 metres away from that church you mentioned "christ church st george".

Sometimes I marvel at how small this planet really is.
