Item Description
This SMC DA15/4 has been a close friend for a number of years, but I am selling it as I have moved to full-frame equipment. This is the original version with the green band that produces those wonderful starburst effects.
The lens is in excellent condition, though it shows signs of light wear consistent with regular usage. It has some minor cosmetic paint loss on the focus ring and on the ring used to hold the lens while mounting it on the camera (see photos below). There also appears to be a very small scratch on the outer edge of the lens hood. None of this affects performance. It has never been dropped, damaged, or abused. I can see no internal dust or oil on aperture blades. I can see no blemishes on any of the lens elements. The lens operates flawlessly and has no known performance issues. I have only rated it "good" to be conservative'). It is an excellent performer.
