Pentax DA* 50-135 f2.8 zoom lens, converted to screwdrive. Marketplace Listing

Item for Sale
Pentax DA* 50-135 f2.8 zoom lens, converted to screwdrive.

Asking Price
350.00 USD

Item Location
Wheat Ridge, CO (United States)

Item Description
Why wait and worry about the common plague of SDM motor failure? With this lens, you're immune to that. It's been converted to fast, reliable screwdrive operation. It works perfectly on my K-1 and K5IIs, and should work great on your Pentax DSLR.

The reputation of this lens speaks for itself. It's a perfect portrait lens, and it's sharpness makes your landscape photos sing. Check the reviews here on PF.

This copy is pristine. It looks like new. There are no dings, scrapes or scratches on the body, and no marks or dust on the glass. Sold with original lens hood and rear cap, and a good-fitting but non-OEM (Sigma) front cap. Help me pay for my K-1, and give your own camera the best short telezoom available. BTW- this lens fills the square crop frame of the K-1 perfectly, with no vignetting!

The DA 50-135 is such a fantastic lens. I have converted quite a number of them and I can tell you that they are as snappy or better on screwdrive than on SDM on my K-3's. The noise is minor - the sealed lenses seem less noisy

NOTE: Just in case this was misread - I am not saying I converted this specific lens or have any knowledge of this one. I have just converted a lot of them and have a good idea of how they perform after conversion.

Just a plug for a great lens. The photos from mine are sharp and have the "it" factor, IMHO. Glad to hear that there is some application for the K-1 as well.
