Just Reduced - Vivitar Series 1 105 Macro F2.5

PentaxForums.com Marketplace Listing

Item for Sale
Vivitar Series 1 105 Macro F2.5

Asking Price
225.00 215 200 USD

Item Location
SE Connecticut (United States)

Item Description
A highly regarded macro (and very capable short telephoto) lens in excellent condition. This is one of the most handsome lenses I've owned and very sharp. The labeling on the barrel suggests it is the dental version of this macro series (Lester Dine?)

This has an A setting so it can use in-camera exposure metering. It is manual focus with a large rubber focus barrel that is a delight to handle. In fact, the entire lens is a pleasure to handle and its heft underscores the quality with which it was made.

Reluctant to part with it, but I'm winnowing my lenses and letting it go in favor of my Pentax WR 100 macro.

Has the original front cap and a generic rear cap (I may have the original cap on hand).

Thanks for looking.

A legendary lens for a reason - if I didn't have the Lester Dine version, I'd be snapping this up, esp. as this one looks to be in such excellent condition. Been using mine a lot lately on really small succulents and a few flowers in our garden and the results are just great.
