The user manual for this flash can be found here:
YUZO Auto Macroflash instruction manual, user manual, PDF manual, free manuals

Things to note:
Power switch should be set to "on" (middle position) not "ext"
Make sure the cable is completely inserted and locked - it's very easy to think it is fully inserted when it isn't really
When the flash is charged - ready light lit - pressing the ready light manually triggers the flash
TTL mode will only work with TTL cameras (*istD, film cameras).

I have one nearly like it. I can't imagine why it's unsold.

Payment sent.

These were also sold under the Lester Dine name for dental macro-photography back when some dentists used film cameras. Lester Dine also re-packaged the excellent Kiron 105 mm f2.8 macro (also sold as Vivitar Series 1) which these attach to via the filter ring screw-thread. I have the Vivitar Series 1 version for Pentax. These two pictures were taken with that lens and one of these flashes.

Great pics! I had that Lester Dine with the dental markings on it. Gorgeous lens! Did not know the two went together. Will PM you once it’s in the mail and thanks again.
