Condition

The drone, battery, controller, camera, gimbal, and accessories are in like new condition. The drone has never crashed nor gotten wet. I've only used it a handful of times and logged probably an hour flight time. A few of the propellers show signs of use, but are still flight ready. Three of the propellers still shrink-wrapped and have never been used. FYI new propellers cost less than $10 on Amazon for a set of 4.

Why I'm selling it

I bought it for aerial real estate photography and never really invested any time into it.

About the drone

This drone is currently for sale new on Amazon for $599. It has a half mile flying range and can fly more than 1000 feet high. The battery lasts approx. 25 min. It's easy to fly, shows real time GPS, and auto hovers. It'll return to you before the battery dies so it doesn't fall out of the sky.
This is a great drone for beginners
Here's a link to the DJI product page with all the info you'll want about it...

Phantom 3 Standard - Drone for Beginners - DJI

About the camera

The camera is gimbal stabilized so no matter how jerky you might be flying, your pics and vids will always be stabilized. The camera has a half inch, 12MP sensor, with a 20mm equivalent lens. It can shoot up to 2.7K video. When connected to your phone or tablet, you get a live view from the camera as the drone flys. The camera can be operated manually and it captures RAW DNGs in addition to JPGs. You can even turn the drone on and use it handheld to shoot gimbal stabilized 2.7K video. I've done it for video house tours.

About the extras

I purchased a bunch of extras and upgraded accessories which I am selling with this drone. The backpack has molded inserts for the drone, controller, batteries, etc. It has internal and external pockets. The lens cap/gimbal lock combo is easier to use and saves space over the separate lens cap and gimbal lock that came with it. The propeller guards will save you if you accidentally bump into something while flying. The removable CF landing gear bar will protect your camera and gimbal if you land on uneven terrain. The upgraded removable controller phone arm is better placed, stronger, and more secure than the original.
I purchased the CF gimbal mount replacement so I could mount a point and shoot camera to the drone. I have a Ricoh GR and had planned on upgrading to the GR II to mount on the camera and control it via WiFi. I never got the GR II, so I used it to mount my Canon S110 (shown mounted to the replacement bracket in the attached pictures). It worked.

On DJI'S site in the FAQ for this model they say you can't mount your own camera, but you include a different carbon fiber gimble, is that third party? Any idea what weight limits for the camera would be on that gimble?

The carbon fiber camera mount is third party. The mount is stronger than the drones ability to fly with extra weight. I flew it with point and shoot cameras mounted. I've never had the desire it go heavier or bigger, primarily because of space restrictions under the body and added weight potentially effecting flying.

Sent PM explaining why my interest also has dropped down.

---------- Post added 04-05-18 at 11:27 AM ----------

I've been asked in a PM why did I dropped my interest on buying a drone.

My interest on buying ANY drone dropped because my mate whom I am about to start a project and we spoke before about getting a drone, has a cousin that already has a DJI and so we can borrow that one instead of spending money on ANY drone.

Anyways if it would not been like that I think I'd have bought Geoff's because I do believe it is a great deal and I have been very attracted to that drone as it also looks like new.

Best wishes to Geoff in the sale because he is a nice guy replying fast and very well to any PM I sent to him and I believe he deserves all my credit.
