I'm recovering from a bout of LBA and doing some spring cleaning. For sale are three Pz-AF teleconverters that I don't really use.

They all work great with my F* 300mm, and they sort of work with my DA* 200mm. These TCs do have SDM contacts, but they tend to hunt a lot on my DA* 200mm. The DA* will attempt to focus using SDM, but it rarely nails the focus without my help using quick shift focusing to get it very close. This has been the case with four different Pz-AF teleconverters, so I believe it's an issue with DA* 200mm since others seem to have had better luck with this combo.


Tamron-F AF 1.4x PzAF MC4 - $160 + shipping SOLD
This teleconverter works great with my F* 300mm. There is negligible (to me) loss in image quality if I'm pixel peeping.
Good, clean condition. Comes with Tamron caps.


Kenko Pz-AF 1.5x Teleplus SHQ - $115 + shipping
This teleconverter also works great with my F* 300mm. I haven't done any controlled testing, but in my usage, I've found that the performance is very simliar to the Tamron 1.4x and magnification seems to be the same as well. Based on the lack of the protruding rear element, this copy might be one that is the same optical formula as the Tamron.
Good, clean condition. Comes with generic rear cap and plain white body cap.


Promaster Spectrum 7 1.7x Pz-AF - $40 + shipping
This one also works great with my F* 300m, and it definitely has slightly more magnification compared to the Tamron and Kenko.
