This is a very good lens. You can see pictures of it and a couple of test samples in the review i wrote here:

There's not much more I can say that isn't in the review.

I'm selling it because I amy shooting longer focal lengths almost all the time when I have a tele attached. I have an AF1.7 TC and an FA*300 that combined gives me 510mm. I also have a 1000mm lens. As a result this lens isn't getting the use it deserves. Last I want to add a K20D to the bag so a little house cleaning is required.

These are somewhat rare on either Ebay or the used market. I've also owned the Pentax K Mount 300mm f4. The Sigma is easily as good a lens and the Pentax generally sells around $300 +/-. The Sigma is considerably lighter than the K 300mm Pentax though and much easier to hand hold. It also has a very good built in tripod mount the Pentax does not have.

Comes with the pictured hard shelled Sigma case and caps. Has built in sliding hood. It has been very well cared for and looks about as close to new as you could ask for.
