Lens in excellent mint condition. Hardly used. My son has hijacked my K1 and he only does street/landscape photography, so no use for this lens, at this time. I need funds to by another body. I will have to make do with my 300 mm F4 and 1.4 X converter.

I'm a K-3ii user who shoots primarily with the DA300 + 1.4xTC. Since you have that combo as well as the 150-450, how would you compare the two?

I've been curious about the 150-450 and tempted by a purchase... but the fact that you're selling it and opting for the DA300 + 1.4xTC instead has me thinking otherwise.

Any comments on the two different lens combos?
Obviously they are different in many ways, but why sell one over the other?

Just curious.

They are both great, obviously the 150-450 has better reach. I am just an amateur, so no pro advice here. I love them both, but my son is using my K1 more than I am now, so not much use for the 150-450. I am hoping actually to use sale to put towards a K3, so I will still have use for the 300 mm and 1.4 X. If I had the funds I would keep all but what use is a lens with no body?? I do have an older K7, but it is really slow compared to the K1
