Your blood type doesn't happen to be B+ does it? I've got a spare kidney.

3,500 USD for F* 600mm? Well, that's a steal! (I can't even remember ever seeing this one for sale...!)

Good luck with the sale Dave - difficult to part with a lens like this but I think you still have a couple of other little gems tucked away for any prospective buyers - you won't find a nicer fellow to deal with.

Seeing this lens for sale is like seeing bigfoot and only having an 8mm fisheye on your camera. (The 8mm FE being my budget of course.) Because of the rarity of this lens I suspect it will stay at the top for quite a while. I bought a lottery ticket so maybe......

Thanks for the kind words, Robert! And, yeah, I do have some (not quite so long, fast, unwieldy or sensational) lenses in my kit which I may eventually be able to use (depending on medical intervention) but--without that tree--it just makes no sense for me to hang on to this one.

without that tree
Dave anyone in the 300+ thread was familiar with that tree and we all enjoyed the numerous subjects that tree provided you with - I know you kept that lens pretty much trained on that tree and it was unfortunate to see it go but I personally am aware of how heavy that 600 is to pack around and can understand that with a bum shoulder it would be pretty much impossible - I think you still have a very nice 500 though....
