Used Pentax battery grip. Included is an OEM Pentax battery but does NOT include the AA battery tray. In good to very good condition. Can be used with K-7, K-5, K-5ii, K-5iis.

Is the plastic cap, used to cover the pins on the grip when not in use, included?

I have an other question, if without the AA battery tray, why would one need a grip to start with?

To answer lady's question... battery grips are really nice! Though they add weight, they actually do a great job of adding better balance for lenses (especially telephoto). It also gives a bigger grip for people with bigger hands, allows for easy vertical shooting... so Ergonomics gets a big boost, which is saying something for Pentax. You also get 2x the battery, and inside the grip I find iti convenient that you can store an extra SD card inside. It comes in handy when on a shoot and you fill up all your cards. This is a really good deal. I paid the same, but for a knock-off brand (still has same function, no weather sealing though)... plus you get a genuine battery which is 40-50 dollars already. Those batteries are nice, because they can also be used in the K-3s and K-1, if you ever intend on upgrading.

Thanks for the answer but since I have small hands, and it making the camera heavier to begin with, and though I have a K-5, I'll pass on this grip.

sorry for the slowness to the questions. In answer to the question about the pin cover, no it does not have the pin cover for when the grip is detached.
