This auction is for one, used, Meyer-Optik Goerlitz DIAPLAN 80mm F2.8 projection lens. It is known for it's beautiful BUBBLE BOKEH (see photo of 2 red flowers that I took today).

This lens has a fixed f/2.8 aperture. It is manual focus - you focus by turning (screwing or un-screwing) the front piece (with the 3 optical glass elements inside) in and out of the focusing helicoil (the bottom piece).

This lens has already been adapted for use on Pentax K mount cameras. The flower pictures I posted were taken today with this lens on my Pentax K-1 camera.

This lens will work on either a full frame (FX) digital camera or a crop sensor (APS-C, DX) digital camera. Even on full frame, it does not vignette. This is a close-up lens - it will not focus at infinity.

The optical glass in this particular Diaplan lens is excellent, and the focusing helicoil works as it should. It's cosmetics are as you see in the attached photos.
