Fevors of unknown origin are no fun... aging teriers are prone to pancreatitis, but that would be obvious and prolly include some cleanup that you would not miss
... but even still, to fight fever and infection, the liver is working overtime. Not sure how you feel about this sort of thing, but might I suggest you have Cody avoid fatty foods, no red meat or cheese treats and whip up a batch of plain boiled chicken breast and rice... no skin or oils added, just to let his system work a little less while he fights it off, and help with the after affects of being on so much antibiotics. A batch could last a few days easily. Break it up and dole out in small portions. It is about the easiest thing on their stomachs you can give them. Our little one enjoys a few tablespoons (no more) to lap up from a flat dish of our morning juicer mix (super beets, blueberries, ice, and some non fat lactic free milk) she loves it, and beets are great for the liver in small amounts for terriers, ours is 16yrs old and still going. Hope Cody gets well soon!
