Hi All
A few things I need to clear up.
I changed the shipping of this item to include only the US. I am sorry about that,,, but I had someone try to buy it from out of the country,, and when they paid via paypal,, I realized they didn't have a verified address. Apparently Paypal won't protect you as a seller if you ship to an address that is not verified,, so I refunded the person right away. Now I am a little afraid ,, and feel I should only sell where I know I am protected.
HOpe you all know that doesn't mean I assumme you are all frauds if you live out of the US !!!
Thanks
Christy

I am not making an issue of it, and am not involved in this sale at all.

But I fail to understand the emphasis being put on the "verified address" bit.
Surely, if the seller has the money in hand they have no further risk. All risk then becomes the buyers worry.
Post it through a verified system to show proof of postage and the deal is done, insofar as the seller is concerned.
Purchases are lost through this thinking of "verified address" which I think is a little crazy.

No offence intended

You would think that would be the case however if there is no verified account holder they can make a claim that the item never showed up, even if there is tracking via usps or ups etc. All the buyer has to say is the item was not in the box and that the seller scamed them when in reality they are the scammer, pay-pal will refund the money taking it away from the seller. There were a lot of people that were scamed on Ebay back in the x-box frenzy. Since then we will not sell to a non verified address.

Bruce,

The reason for the verified address is that someone could hack a PayPal account and have an item shipped to another address. They could then take the item and vanish (the shipping address could be just a drop off place, where someone could stop by and take the item before someone comes home). The verification that it was delivered, would be just that - "it was delivered". Not necessarily a signed release. The person that hacks the PayPal account could even be a family member.

Anyway, I understand your point too. I am not crazy about PayPal myself and as a seller, prefer to use Google Checkout - for a lot of reasons, including this issue.

Edit: Good morning Louis! I was posting the same answer at about the same time!
