Originally posted by Mountain Vision For me, I opted for the 2mm on the wide end (16mm) and the generally better overall performance. I didn't have anything weather sealed at the wide end, and I wanted something as a general walk around and landscape lens.
I think pairing the 18-135 with the DA 15 would be a great combo. However, the 18-135 is weakest, I believe, at the long end. So you may still want a second lens at the long end.
I have the 55-300 PLM WR too, which I'm very pleased with. The overlap of either of the shorter two lenses works well with it, as a two lens kit. I have a couple of primes as well and could almost go primes + PLM as an option as well.
