Selling a near perfect condition 50-135 f2.8 lens that has been switched to screwdrive. Only reason I'm not marking its condition higher is because it doesnt have a lens hood. 450obo

Man, I can't believe you can't unload at this price. I have one and thought about selling it but if you can't sell it for $300, I might as well hold on to mine! lol

It is so sad to see one of the best Pentax zoom lenses can only be sold at such a low price -- good for buyer, of course, but sad for Pentax, and for owners.

Probably more to do with the time of the year. People received new lenses as gifts and as a result, many are thinning the herd. Supply is up and demand is down right now.

I presume the SDM-ectomy does not affect weather seals? I don't see the red WR ring on the mount but I'm not used to * lenses..

The conversion uses a computer to alter a text file in the lens, there is no physical change.

Further to clackers' comment, the o-ring used on the DA* lenses is black.

I didn't buy it; was simply wondering if it was still for sale. Several threads are not marked if item is sold or not. Makes it hard on those looking for a lense.
