Item Description
This is the "smc PENTAX ZOOM 1:4 45~125mm (Additional distance scale for close-up lens) 1977-1984. This is the last production of the four models put forth.
.....Lens is near mint cond. hence the "like new" description is noted. The glass, exterior, and k mounting plate lead me to believe the lens was seldom used. Very little dust on the inside and a few white specs on the outside are dust specs I missed while taking photos.
...The zoom ring is in above average condition in that it doesn't slide as freely, like some of my other lenses. The caps are original Asahi/Pentax and are in great condition. I don't have the box or docs.
.......Selling because I have other lenses and looking at my 70yrs. of youth it's time to thin the herd. I used this lens a couple of times to see that all was right with it but have no practical need for it. I don't buy and sell photo gear and a professional photographer I'm not.
