Item Description
This is a Pentax lens that I purchased in September of 2008. Unfortunately, the lens is exhibiting some auto focus issues. It hesitates a lot, if turned to infinity, it will usually focus pretty quickly, but my guess is that it needs a new SDM motor or perhaps conversion to screw drive would take care of it. I shoot enough with the K-1 and DFA 70-200 that it isn't worth it to me to go through the hassle of getting it fixed.

Optically, the lens is in really good shape with clean glass and seems quite sharp, even at f2.8.

I have posted some images of the lens and one photo taken earlier today at f2.8.

I hesitate to know how to list the condition of the lens as it "looks" great, but obviously isn't functioning the way it should. If you have any questions, let me know.

Are you the original owner of the item being sold?
Yes

FWIW, It should still be under warranty. I think it's a full year in the US.
