Macro-Takumar 1:4 /50 M42 Pre-set Lens This lens goes 1:1 and has 8 aperture blades.
Glass is clear and free from fungus, cleaning marks or haze, some very fine dust discernible internally.
Focusses smoothly - no focus creep. Both aperture rings work to spec and has the unique aperture shape when half open
Has been engraved around the external filter ring with the name of a school. Cosmetic and has been black lacquered over so is only noticeable when you look for it. Some very small paint fecks missing from shoulders of
Genuine front and rear caps.
I never thought I would sell this lens but having to downsize collection as circumstances change.
