SMC Takumar 1:1.4/50mm Lens
I am selling this lens at half price as it has wispy fungal growth on two or three of the internal elements on the edges - minimal if any affect on contrast of final image.
Focus is smooth and well damped throughout the focal range. The aperture Auto/Manual switch works as expected. The 8 aperture blades move smoothly and regularly as the aperture ring is turned in manual mode and the blades snap in and out when the lever is depressed in Auto mode. The extra tab is present on the base that allows open metering on Spotmatic F camera bodies.
Cosmetically, externally the lens is in good condition with no scratches or haze on the elements and very little paint loss - a couple of bright spots on the leading corners of the focus ring and on the lens locking ring on the front element. The lens has the characteristic warm tone of the 50mm Takumar lens range.
Original front lens cap and generic rear cap.
