FOR REPAIR or USE AS IS-PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION!!!

The sought after Version 3 of the Vivitar Series 1 70-210mm f28-4 macro zoom.
Lens is in good physical condition and was not used very much.
I bought it from a no-returns eBay auction with a 'Like New' condition description. ($35 plus $15 shipping)

Upon using the lens, I discovered it has a SLOW-STICKY IRIS. About 60% of shots show some degree of over exposure. Shooting in RAW, I was able to save about half the overexposed shots.

Also, this underside of the second element behind the front lens group shows central hazing. These is also moderate internal dust-SEE PHOTO

I've also attached sample photos taken with the lens on my K30 5/1/19. Un retouched jpegs.

This lens can be saved by someone with the tools and knowhow to take on the project.
