Is this $900.00 shipped? Or is there shipping charges involved for folks in the USA? Seems like a sweet deal to me. Wonder if there is something around here I can sell?

Well I'll be darned. It wasn't there for me with the typical 'working' key words such as "Gold Coin" or "Nintendo Wii".
I have told many times - Nikon probably paid somebody in M$... I always have good results w/ "D40"

Or he can just pull the deal and no one gets it. STFU already. His products, his deals, he can do what he wants. Why are you whining about it when you're obviously not gonna take advantage of this anyway?
my question is very legit - how ebay fees can be more than $200 on a ~$900 transaction...

i can't speak for Chris's business but the transaction fees of course won't be $200, but by listing on ebay, with the transaction fees would not make it a very good sale for him. of course other stores are selling on ebay, but they may be working on a different business model (like Prodigital)

Suggestions and different opinions are always welcome in this forum but I hope you are not dictating how Chris does his business. Your suggestion and opinion are treated equal like any other forum member, but I dislike to see opinion expressed by you as the representative opinion by others. Chris is well regarded in this forum with all the help and assistance from him in outstanding posts with in-depth knowledge to share on Pentax gear and news information, I salute to him and his generosity to the donation to PentaxForums. I raise my 4 limbs to support the idea.

This is the BEST and most open forums to Pentaxian. RiceHigh included. And the OP comes from Adam and I salute to Adam and Ole as well. They are the best Pentaxian that I know, and they are the reasons why PentaxForums exist.

Thanks,
Hin

It's $900 USD and shipping is actual cost via USPS priority mail. Shipping cost vaires, but averages around $15-$20USD for the CONUS.

How 'bout a few quit w/the "how 'bouts".
Adam, Chis. Thanx so very much for the partnership & offer. It's a really great deal.
Wondering what the cost of the extended warranty is?

The warranty is $49.99 but only is valid if purchased on the same receipt as the body so it's useless by itself

So a small business owner offers a killer deal (better deal than Amazon.com or the big 2 suppliers have) to the community that helped him get his career going; and said deal additionally helps with the care and feeding of said community, and the business owner at the same time is a long standing member and volunteer for the community himself ... and people feel it's not good enough??? Simply amazing.

Chris, if I was in the market I'd be on this deal like flies on feces. But I just sold my K10 so I could fund the 50-135 & 12-24 - and I really think I would miss my wife.

you did not notice - I did suggest to increase $900 by the amount equal to ebay fees (at least)... that probably will be $50... ok add $50 more in donations to Adam and you still get it better for the buyer... am I missing something here ? I am not suggesting Codiac2600 to sell it on ebay for the same $900, OK ?

how about selling on ebay and accepting paypal to use M$ cashback - that will be even better, even if you will have to increase the price by ebay/paypal fees ? just my 2c... win for you, win for us, win for Pentax too.
didn't catch that... good idea for when the cashback is available
but who knows how long it will be up for? once the cashback is gone, putting it up on ebay won't be worth it.

That's a great offer. I'd get one if I didn't have one already. I'm surprised how much we're talking about how to sell it rather than just buying it It's a pretty good deal and is good for this online community.
