This lens needs no description, either you have one or you want one.

I bought this lens new two years ago, and have used it a lot since then. The lens has a fair amount of paint loss on the body. Also, I dropped the lens once and managed to bend the hood and filter ring slightly. I straightened them both out and it is still possible to screw filters on and off, but I now just leave an old filter with the glass broken out screwed in (since its threads are easier to use).

The lens' glass is in perfect condition, as are the aperture blades. Mechanics are smooth.

Comes with original box, paperwork, lens cap (unused), bag, etc.

Here are the optics. Please note, those dust spots are actually on my sensor (You can see their position doesn't move between pictures).

Dude, with all due respect, but the PENTAX Police Group might confiscate your Pentax gear if you dont take more care of it!

Your sensor needs some good cleaning and the 77 LTD was babied!

Freakin awesome deal if the glass is in good condition, but still, the PPG might ticket you if they see these pictures!

This is a lens with character, like an old boxer that's survived all his fights, and has the scars to prove it

I bought a 77 Ltd yesterday, but if I hadn't, I think I would have gone for this one. At this price, it's a steal. After all, it's the glass you take the pictures with, not the exterior.

I actually like it, it has 'battle scars'. would look great on my MX, but alas I cant afford such a lens even at that price.
