Item Description
For sale is an Irix 15mm f/2.4 Firefly Lens in excellent condition. The lens has a clean body, no fungus, no oil and no glass defects. I am selling it only because I bought the Blackstone version of the lens. Always taken great care of it and kept it in a climate-controlled environment. Sale includes: the lens, front & rear caps, the original pouch and the original box (Hood Not Included).

NOTE: I will keep the lens hood for the Blackstone I bought. That is why the hood will not be included. However, a new one can be bought from Adorama.

Hi, I've seen many posts mentioning examples with decentering on this lens, or extreme softness towards the edges (generally on the left hand side.) This seems to vary from example to example. How is this one? Thanks.

Hi, I am no expert but I think this is a great copy of the lens. I attached a few photos of my trip to Banff (July 2019) were I used the lens for most of my landscape photos. Those are all small jpegs straight from the camera with just a bit of color adjustment. You can observe the sharpness and IQ (most photos taken between f/8 and f/16). In one of the photos you are going to see some vignetting caused by a thick CPL filter I own, as you can see the vignetting is basically the same amount in all corners (therefore the lens is centered). Please check all the photos, if you want PM me your email and I can send you two or three DNGs for extra verification. Thank you.
