Item Description

This started as a thread where I was selling four silver hd limited primes: 15, 21, 40, 70. I withdrew the 70 and sold the 15 and 21, so currently the last one available is the 40. I've updated the thread accordingly.


40/2.8 --- $210


It's in great shape, no dings, optical or mechanical issues that affect use. I'm the original owner, I've had it for three years. The following are notes on the few and minor blemishes I could find when inspecting for this listing. It comes with original caps, pouches and boxes, as in the first photo (showing all four that I initially listed). It has a tiny mark on the lens cap (see last photo). It also seems to have more dust than the others (which are very low), no impact on image quality. See photo below for the inside of this lens.


15mm --- two years ago I noticed a little thing inside on one of the elements. It's extremely minor and doesn't affect image quality. Unsure if it was fungus or lint, I used a UV light and it hasn't changed its shape since. I've taken many shots since with the lens, no impact on image quality. see photo below

21mm --- shaken at the correct angle, the lens rattles a tiny bit. It's how I got it new and affects nothing. The hood rattles more than the body, but I thought I'd point it out.

40mm --- this has a tiny mark on the lens cap (see last photo). It also seems to have more dust than the others (which are very low), no impact on image quality. See photo below for the inside of this lens.

70mm --- nothing to note here, looks almost new












DA 40 inside, to show dust. No impact on image quality, and I can't judge if this is a lot or it is more magnified because of the lens design.
