Offering a FA 80-320mm f4.5-5.6 (dark gray model) to an up and coming photographer. Optically the lens is in good shape, however, it does not function in auto mode. Basically, the camera does not recognize the lens, so it must be operated in full manual mode. I'd like the lens to go to a young, aspiring photographer who would like a longer tele and wants to learn / practice manual operation. I'm only looking for reimbursement of $10 to cover shipping costs within the lower 48.

Hard to believe nobody's jumped on this. If I didn't already have the 55-300 PLM, and hadn't recently picked up a 100-400 as a bonus lens in a camera buy, I would jump all over it. While I've never owned one myself, a friend loves his, and rightfully so - he's gotten some great shots in the right conditions.
