The 4 batteries themselves are worth almost $200 (B&H and Adorama sell them for $48 a pop)

Cant answer for the OP but I buy at least 6 extra batteries for every camera I own. Hard to find a charger while 100 miles out in the desert or on an extended hiking or kayak trip. Plus....these are Pentax not like the DSTE ones I get.
