Item for Sale
Pentax SMC-A 100/4 macro lens

Asking Price
$225.00

Item Description
Let's face it, I've discovered that I don't like not having AF as an option on my lenses, so I'm letting this one go. It is in excellent condition; the only thing wrong with it that I can see is a tiny little chip on the edge of front filter threads. The glass is perfect. It does have the "A" setting, making it easy to use on your Pentax DSLR or later model film SLR, as well as your older film SLR body. It's a 1:2 macro lens (half-size). It comes with the original caps and original lens case that's in perfect condition. I'm also throwing in a 49mm Hoya HMC (multicoated) UV filter, so you don't have to worry about buying a filter for it.

Here are a couple of sample pics taken with this lens:

Attached below are pics of the lens itself.

I'm also interested in getting a DA16-45, so if you have one you'd like to trade for this lens, I'm willing to take it + add a little cash with the A100 to even it out.

If you're seriously interested in buying the A100, but want to take advantage of the MS Live rebate, let me know and I'd be happy to post it on Fleabay.

I'm surprised it hasn't sold. I'd be interested but I have 7 dedicated macro lenses as it is.

If someone doesn't pick it up here by Sunday evening, then off to Fleabay it goes.

I already have one of these so i'm not buyin today. But it's a magnificent piece of glass at a very good price, and you'll all be sorry come monday when some unwashed heathen buys it on the 'bay for what it's actually worth.

LOL!

Heather, just stick it on eBay at $235 BIN right now. With the cashback going on it should fly off your hands before the weekend is over.

Believe it or not--it has already sold! I put $250 on it (gotta cover those Fleabay fees) and somebody snatched it up. I don't recognize the name as being from PentaxForums, but regardless, it's going to a new home.

Why not sell it--particularly if your is a "A" version? That'll be some extra money in your pocket you can use toward more gear or whatever else you'd like.
