Selling my SMC Pentax 85mm f1.8

This is an extremely well regarded prime in excellent condition, only exhibiting very minor wear to a couple of tiny spots on the barrel - glass looks excellent, focus is nicely damped and smooth, aperture works as it should.

Cat shot taken with this lens on my K-1

This is a tough one - I'm listing it as I'm saving for a DFA 70-200mm, but I think this is one of those lenses I may regret selling...

It doesn't fill a hole in my line up or my style of shooting, but it sure is pretty! I also know you take care of your gear.

I had one back in the mid 1990s and it was my favorite lens for high school basketball on T-Max 3200. Unfortunately, it suffered a balsam separation. I’d love to buy yours, but I just scratched another lens itch!

We are lucky that camera gear imports into the USA do not seem to attract import duties (I heard up to $1000, not sure if that is correct) I’ve never had to pay any duties to date. Not everyone is as fortunate of course!
