So, there is my last Pentax Item. Five bodies, 16 lenses, and 4 TCs are sold. This one is really great full frame capable 1.4x TC.

Some time ago I did extensive research and shoot out of most available at that time Pentax compatible auto focusing TCs. I used to have both DG and non-DG EX versions. My personal choice was EX non-DG because images taken with it were always brighter and AF a bit snappier. I think that DG coating and slightly different design affected general light transmittance of DG TC.

Below is quick and dirty sample shot: indoors, handheld, ISO 500, 1/250 shutter speed (IBIS worked great with this pair, BTW), approx. 5 yards/5 meters distance - taken with very old K-5 and FA*300/4.5 plus this Sigma 1.4x EX AF TC. The AF was very reliable at f/5.6-f/8. No sharpness and contrast corrections were applied. I just adjusted exposure and tweaked highlights a bit. Look at the eye. As you can see even tiniest single fibers are crispy and clearly visible. And this is on ancient 16MP K-5! To my surprise the combo was able to auto focus even at f/16 (wow, I even did not know that myself).
