(iv) F* 300mm/f4.5: in overall good condition. The lens has been professionally used by previous user, and cosmetically showed considerable paint off on the outside. There are also some dusts inside and a thin/short scratch on the edge of front element (could not take the picture but have marked in red in photoshop for illustration purpose), which would definitely not affect the optical performance (as you can judge from the attached sample photo). Mechanically/functionally the lens is perfect, and focuses fast and accurately. Ask for $640 ($620 if you could avoid credit card funded paypal) + actual shipping. That is a heck of a good deal on the F*300. Except for the paint chips, the glass looks to be in good shape and that is what matters. If I didn't already own one, I'd buy this one. I bought mine for $800.00 (a good deal at that!). It also shows signs of wear and is missing the tripod mount, but I found one to adapt for it.
The IQ on this lens is exceptional. Someone is going to get some great glass for this price.
