Up for sale is an excellent condition Tamron SP Adaptall-2 200-500mm f/5.6 lens, and a Pentax K/A Adaptall-2 adapter. The lens is in beautiful condition. There is almost no wear anywhere on the lens and you'd be hard pressed to find it. I list it as excellent, though, because there are some very, very small blemishes. The glass is absolutely perfect. The front and back elements are perfect.

Included with the lens is an excellent PK/A Adaptall-2 mount. This mount allows for automatic aperture functions with any compatible Adaptall-2 lens, one of which is the lens listed here. Also included are the original case, the original shoulder strap for the lens, the original front slip-on lens cap, a generic rear K-mount lens cap, and a rear clear Adaptall-2 lens cap.

The lens is big, heavy, and solid metal and glass. At around 6 pounds it is quite a load to handhold, but I've been successful doing it in short spurts. It's combination of a constant maximum aperture of 5.6 while zooming to 500mm is unique. It's quite a good performer, and I would say it's sharpness is on par with my Sigma 100-300mm f/4.
